This is Fiber Art

Here are some samples from past exhibitions categorized to give many examples of what fiber art means.

We define “fiber art” to include basketry, beadwork, braiding, clothing design, crochet, dyeing, embroidery, felting, hooking, knitting, lacework, mixed media, needlework, paper, quilting, sculpture, sewing, spinning, surface design, textile design and weaving.We include in this community as well, the producers who raise cashmere, wool, alpaca, mohair, llama and Angora rabbit, and the shops and galleries who make work available to the public.
