Hooked on Spring, 2019, our show of 35 contemporary hooked rugs. On view April 1-June 15, 2019. Beautiful original work including depictions of Maine landscapes, reflections, cityscapes, cafés with diners, abstract themes, the natural world, and Maine's working world. Inspiring work!

It's Political. An Exhibition of Political Work, July 3–August 31, 2019. Work by 12 Maine artists representing all points of view. Tea bag quilts, artists’ books, recycled sculptural plastic, paper maché, coiled basketry, woven tapestries, hooked Ruth Bader Ginsberg pillows, crocheted tea cups, mixed media embroidery, paper collage, and more.

Allegra Kuhn:  “art and design, fiber and handwork, have always had a presence in my life. I’ve experimented with most fiber processes, but tend to be drawn to those that may not be as ‘current’ or fashionable. My interest in traditional rug hooking or hooking with wool grew out of a part time job in the industry.
